During the 2017 convocation, I gave a training alongside Kurt Shirkey, Assistant director of classroom technology, on how to best utilize the Flex classrooms in teaching.

There is a total of 15 newly designed Flex classrooms on various SLCC Campuses, and the methods of delivery in those rooms vary considerably from traditional classrooms. We spoke about how these unique rooms can enhance the learning in courses. I specifically talked about adult student expectations and gave examples of how these expectations could be better met by utilizing the features of the flex-rooms.
