Salt Lake Community College

Assistant Professor

I'm an Assistant Professor- tenure track at Salt Lake Community College. In my capacity as an assistant professor, I mainly develop curricula and teach classes including Introduction to Marketing, Customer Service, Marketing Research, Event Marketing, Digital Marketing, and International Marketing. I also established cross-departmental collaboration efforts to maximize the exposure and experience of students. In addition, I have served as a faculty advisor to the DECA student organization which has given us various opportunities to travel to other states for DECA conferences.

Additionally, I served as a lead instructor in implementing major course redesigns for multiple classes including Marketing Research, Introduction to Marketing, and Digital Marketing with the goal of maximizing student retention rates. In order to give my students a chance to implement their learning, I developed and implemented a student-run event in conjunction with the Lupus Foundation of Salt Lake City.

On the other hand, I trained and mentored adjunct professors and instructors participating in the Concurrent Enrollment program. Finally, I served as a member of a faculty advisory board, SLCC Marketing Management PAC, and Marketing Management DACUM to assist in the development of the Marketing Management Curriculum.
