Digi International

Regional Manager

I held the position of Regional Manager at Digi International where I influenced the shift in our regions marketing strategy to proactively compensate for deficiencies in the oil industry by identifying an entirely new market in the utility and renewable energy industries. I similarly studied the company’s current and potential markets to identify new and value-added uses for its products and identified several new industries where a competitive advantage could be achieved.

Moreover, I trained extensively to become entirely familiar with the company’s products, market, capabilities, and resources in order to identify areas of opportunity within the company and in the market. Meanwhile, I supervised new product development processes for custom products both for existing customers and for meeting the market demands.

Furthermore, I executed business development strategies in the company's largest sales territory and continually exceeded high expectations, achieving the highest sales quota percentage in Q4 of 2008.

I also managed relationships with key clients, suppliers, and contract manufacturers including NASA and Toshiba. Similarly, I represented the company's product at large technical conferences and tradeshows throughout the country while managing the design and implementation of a forecasting system to maximize production efficiency and increase the accuracy of scheduling and budgetary estimates.
